The February meeting of the Fairfield County Executive Committee  

The Fairfield County Central Committee will meet on February 21st, 2006, at Independence Hall in Lancaster Ohio. Jennifer Brunner, Democratic Candidate for Ohio Secretary of State, will be in attendance, and we urge you to come meet this candidate and those that the Fairfield County Democratic Party has put forward for local elections! The meeting will begin after the meeting of the Fairfield County Democratic Club concludes. We will discuss, among other things, the possibility of endorsing Ted Strickland for Governor prior to the primary election; this can only be done through a unanimous vote in favor of the candidate. According to the Party By-Laws: CHAPTER 4. PRE-PRIMARY ENDORSEMENTS Section 1. At any time, the Fairfield County Democratic Party Executive Committee may make pre-primary endorsements for any local or district office providing a unanimous vote of the members of the committee present and voting on such question so determine. At any meeting on which endorsements shall be discussed, ample notice shall be given to each member of the committee. Everyone is welcome, and there is no charge for attendance.
