September 30th-October 2nd (weekend conference in collaboration with Ohio College Democrats) in Athens, Ohio at Ohio University This will be a weekend conference hosted by the Ohio College Democrats Caucus of the Ohio Young Democrats with the Ohio Democrats County Chairs Association. This conference is aimed at organizing campus efforts and connecting the College Democrat chapters with their county chairs, and is designed to go through the “nuts and bolts” of what it takes to coordinate campus efforts. This conference will be a team effort for county chairs and college Democrats in Ohio to work together. The bulk of the conference and training will occur on Saturday, October 1st. An overview of how to coordinate campus political activism is scheduled for 10:00-12:00 noon. Lunch will be provided so we can work through the day. Break-out sessions will occur from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. We anticipate a dinner and a guest speaker at 5:30 p.m on Saturday. (There will be a charge to attend the dinner.) County Chairs are welcome to stick around for the entire weekend; The hotel closest to the event is the Ohio University Inn.
