The Fairfield County Democratic Central
Committee will meet at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday
September 16th, 2008. At least one person
has asked to address the group, and we will
discuss candidate recruitment for the 2009
political races.
The races on the ballot in 2009 will be for elected positions in Cities and Villages, Township Trustees, and School Boards. Many of these are non-partisan positions, but we need Democratic electors to run for those positions.
These are smaller -- often ignored -- races, but they train our candidates in how to run for office and give them the experience & skills they need to aspire to higher offices in the county, in the state, and in Washington.
If you are a proud Democrat who is energized this year, then stay energized next year and run for office, or help us find qualified people who want to run for office!
This meeting will be open to all, not just members of the Central Committee. We hope to see you there.
