You can vote an absentee ballot for ANY
reason!
In the past, Ohioans asking to vote absentee had to fall into a few, select categories. A few years ago, however, the law changed to allow ANYONE to vote absentee.
Voting absentee gives you the opportunity to vote from the comfort of your home, and it lets you avoid the waiting in the long lines on election day.
Interested? If so, then complete the Absentee application form which is available from the Fairfield County Board of Elections.
You can submit the application IMMEDIATELY and your ballot will be sent to you when the Board of Elections has the ballots ready to mail to voters.
